In general figures, the brand calculates that the project has 1,316 total beneficiaries, considering the farmers and their families. the company expects to continue generating a multiplier effect in the region in the coming years.

“We have made ambitious commitments in this matter, for example, our Native Beer, made from cassava starch, with which we have linked hundreds of families of farmers from Bolívar, Córdoba and Sucre through the Contract Farming mechanism. , boosting the economy and competitiveness of agriculture in the Caribbean Region,” he said, “In Bavaria we know that the countryside is an engine of development for Colombia and a key link in our value chain, said Samira Fadul, Vice President of Corporate Affairs of the company.

On the other hand, these new initiatives include the implementation of a training program in rural skills that involves the financial, commercial and good agricultural practices dimensions. Bavaria, its Foundation and the Corporation for the Participatory and Sustainable Development of Small Rural Producers – PBA, established an alliance that seeks to promote the associative, commercial and productive strengthening of organizations of small cassava farmers in Bolívar, Córdoba and Sucre.
